The following photos are of a tool storage cabinet I designed for my 5 year old grandson. I purchased the matched walnut crotch wood 4 years ago from Metro Hardwoods located in Independence, Missouri. I’ve wanted to design a James Krenov style cabinet and when I saw the crotch walnut I knew I had to have it.  At the time my grandson wasn’t a year old yet but I knew at the time that it would make great focal point for this project.   Read more

Here are 3 pics of the new dining room table that I finally took the time to build in early November.  The Zebra wood did not warp a bit due to its hardness and age.  The table weighs about 100 pounds, without the leaf because it is 2.25″ thick.  Read more
